EMMA WIESSENBERGER

Winter Coach

Coach Emma was raised in Rosemount and began dancing at Betty Jo’s at just 3 years old. Inspired by her older sister, she joined the ‘Irishettes’ her freshman year and has been passionate about the building and enhancing our team ever since — leading her full circle as a coach. Emma graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2022 with a Liberal Arts degree. She works in marketing for a property management company and lives in the south metro. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out with her fur babies (Teddy, Remy and Vienna), and traveling whenever she can. She’s thrilled to continue sharing her love for dance and start her second year coaching at Rosemount.

Coach Linnea began dancing at South Metro Dance Arts Center in Lakeville, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. She was a competitive dancer for 15 years and earned multiple national championship titles throughout her studio career.

While dancing in the studio, Linnea was also a 4 year varsity member and 2 year captain of the Lakeville South Cougar Dance Team. During her time on the team, she earned three All-Conference honors and represented Lakeville South as an All-State Jazz dancer for three consecutive years.

Outside of dance, Linnea attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Resources Management. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants with friends and family.

Linnea is currently a Varsity Assistant Dance Coach for Lakeville South, where she has supported the program for the past four years. She also teaches various dance team prep and technique classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center.

Linnea is passionate about helping dancers grow both technically and personally.
